Keyboard shortcuts
In Casambi Pro for Windows, some layout tools and features can be activated from the top ribbon and also by using keyboard shortcuts.

| Selection tool | V | Default selection tool (arrow) |
| Deselect tool | Esc | Cancel current action in the layout. If no action, Esc drops the current tool and returns to default selection tool. |
| Draw space | S | Draw spaces (with Ctrl + click, irregular space shapes can be created). |
| Draw group | G | Draw groups (with Ctrl + click, irregular group shapes can be created). |
| Switch | W | Add switch placeholders to spaces |
| Sensor | R | Add sensor placeholders to spaces |
| Schedule | T | Add schedules to spaces |
| Edit shape | E | Allows user to edit the sides and corner points of the selected space or group. |
| Edit layout | L | Allows user to edit the underlying layout image. |
| Arrow keys | ↑ ↓ ← → | Move selected object in the layout by one unit at a time (Shift + arrow to move in 10 unit steps) |
| Duplicate selected object | Ctrl + D | Duplicates the selected layout object. |
| Save project | Ctrl + S | Saves project to the server. |
| Delete | Del | Deletes the selected object. |
